Introducing my third series of small work, “Birds Passing Through” for those small spaces that are just crying out for a little joy. As winter turned to spring, the river running past my place came alive with birds. Imagine all the running and whooping that took place to leave these footprints behind. No birds just their signs of life. I am repurposing blues for the river from my samples and unfinished work, and using scraps of my silk textiles left after felting my large pieces. Bird tracks are embroidered. Each piece is unique. Sewn on 8”x10” black canvas. $100 - contact me directly if interested.
